Once you have paid for your membership, your application will normally be approved at the next FESA Committee Meeting, which may be up to four weeks away. Once your membership has been confirmed, you will receive an email confirming your application has been successful and you can log into the Members Only area.
As a financial member, you can also join our public Members Directory. To do this, please log into your account and update your bio. For a step-by-step guide on how to do this, see the "how to" sheet in the members' area, or please email fesaust@gmail.com for a copy.
Events are scheduled as person-to-person gatherings (hotel meals and presentations) and also online via ZOOM. Online recordings of presentations are usually soon available to distant members.

Please note that in order for us to consider your application, it is mandatory to pay your annual membership fee. As soon as we receive your payment, we will promptly process your application. Membership renewals and applications are $55 per year. If for any reason your application does not proceed, we will provide you with a full refund of your membership fee.

Benefits of membership
LEARN
FESA offers worthwhile opportunities to learn, grow, broaden your network, share job opportunities and hear (or access on-line) great presentations. Our website offers opportunities for forum discussions and access to regularly updated useful resources, news and technical information. Financial members have access to the best of this material. Memebers can also have their professional details and contact placed on a "Members' Details" page - great for networking and obtaining work.
WORK
FESA members are interested in cross-referring work, consulting enquiries and questions to each other - providing mutual support, networking, supporting and enhancing reputations, maintaining professional standards, and our positions in the engineering, legal and general communities.
MEET
FESA meets on a scheduled basis (currently Melbourne) over a meal, where a guest speaker (or two) present relevant topics. Members discuss current issues, engaging in "Show and Tell" about interesting forensic issues and recent cases. We also exchange professional advice and assist each other within our network, and refer work to each other as appropriate. Members outside Melbourne have access to all recorded presentations and occasional Zoom get-togethers.
Standard memberships are $55 per year.
