Title: Compliance requirements and importance of control of welding in construction and infrastructure projects.

There have been many requests over the last couple of years for talks on “Welding” related to “construction”. To this end we have invited Victor Blain, an Internationally qualified and experienced “International Welding Engineer” who represents the “peak body” for welding i.e. Weld Australia. His Talk (including case studies) will be supported by a talk by David Lake, FESA President and also President/Chairman of Weld Australia, who will talk about the need for compliance to some of the many AS/NZS standards that “should” be controlling the quality of welding and therefore the safety of the public who interact with our buildings and structures.

Please see Victor's profile attached.

Abstract and Bio - Victor Blain
