Members Raphael Grzebieta (below L) and John Lambert (below R) are presenting.  Raph's topic is Quad bikes,  the biggest killer of workers on Australian farms.  He will cover static stability, dynamic handling, crashworthiness, operator protective devices, helmets, and a safety rating system.  John  will speak on autonomous vehicles.  Book online here now. 

         

Raph Grzebieta was Professor of Road Safety at the Transport and Road Safety (TARS) Research Centre at UNSW in Sydney from 2007 to 2018.  He has 30 years of research and professional experience in road safety, road infrastructure and vehicle crashworthiness, crash investigation and reconstruction, and injury prevention related to road and terrain vehicles. He has over 350 research publications and expert witness experience.

John Lambert is an expert in industrial, road and agricultural safety, innovation in heavy transport vehicles, and the loading/unloading/load restraint of heavy transport vehicles.  Much of his work relates to expert witness reports in Workcover, Worksafe, and Comcare matters, in materials handling and load restraint, quad bike accidents, motorcycle incidents, friction  and stability analysis.
